Powerlux (Light Energy Management)

Powerlux is a comprehensive Light Energy Management and savings system which is compatible with lighting loads of all kinds. The system is fully programmable via embedded controller or PC based software. Lighting energy constitutes a substantial part of the Overall energy consumption in commercial and industrial centers. Upto 40% energy can be saved, while reducing losses, wastage and over lighting conditions. Powerlux enables corporations to save energy by eliminating waste via facility wide dimming and switching. Using the software, the facility operator can locally or remotely access Powerlux and manage any of the elements listed below.

• Schedule or manually implement automatic energy reduction levels and on/off switching
• Participate in peak shaving/load shedding/utility energy requirements without disruption of work.
• View power usage and energy consumption.

Unlike dimming ballasts or retrofit devices, this system can be used without any expensive changes in existing wiring or lamp fixtures.

3 PH AC Motors (ENERGEESAVER)

ENERGEESAVER constantly adjusts the voltage to the terminals of an AC Induction motor to that which is just sufficient to meet the load on the motor. ENERGEESAVER is able to instantly detect, by microprocessor control any change in a varying load and to adjust the voltage output accordingly. By matching output to load, the losses (iron/ magnetizing, copper and friction losses) inherent in all AC Induction motors are considerably reduced thereby dramatically improving the motor efficiency and reducing running costs.

The Soft Start facility incorporated in all ENERGEESAVER (three-phase) ENERGEESAVER provides a gradual and controlled increase (decrease in the case of Soft Stop) in the voltage applied to the motor terminals, thus eliminating the high peak current created during the starting cycle of Induction motors.

The ENERGEESAVER is manufactured for the motors ranging from 3HP to 1000 HP. For each size motor separate ENERGEESAVER is required. Up to 150 HP is our standard range.

Energy Saving:

• EnergeeSaver will save energy when the motor starts.
• EnergeeSaver will optimise the energy consumption of the motor whilst it is running without reducing the speed. A really true energy optimizer for fixed speed devices.
• EnergeeSaver soft start facility makes it safe and cost effective to switch applications on and off at will. Applications can be switched off when not in use. This is the best way to save energy.
• EnergeeSaver timed monitoring can automatically switch applications off after a pre-determined time if not under load. This ensures that manned production lines run at optimum levels.

Time and motion studies in major blue chip companies show that significant savings can be made. It is not practical to rely on operators to switch machines off during shift changes, or while waiting for materials etc.

Reduced Maintenance:

• EnergeeSaver is solid-state electronics - hence it needs little maintenance itself unlike DOL and Star-Delta which is mechanical methods of starting and requires on-going physical maintenance.
• The use of EnergeeSaver will significantly reduce maintenance on motors and the applications to which they are attached by making the motor operate more smoothly.
